Introduction: In response to the opportunities and challenges presented by the construction of the new power system, and to facilitate the exchange of the latest research findings and practical experiences in the field of electric power safety and emergency technology, the China Energy Research Society is proud to present The 2025 Conference on Electric Power Safety and Emergency Technology. This premier event will be held in Foshan, Guangdong—a major manufacturing hub and a key city in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area—in November 2025.

Under the theme "Smart Empowerment, Fortifying the Safety and Emergency Defense Line for the New Power System," the conference aims to pool industry wisdom and discuss strategies for a secure energy future. It will focus on the new requirements for power safety and emergency management arising from the evolution towards a new power system, characterized by source-grid-load-storage interaction, large-scale integration of renewable energy, and frequent extreme weather events. The conference will delve into the innovative application and development trends of cutting-edge technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, the Internet of Things, and Digital Twins in risk early warning, intelligent maintenance, fault diagnosis, emergency command, and rescue operations.

The conference will feature a rich program including keynote speeches, parallel sessions, technical exchanges, product exhibitions, and site visits. We will bring together leading experts and professionals from national and local energy authorities, grid companies, power generation groups, research institutes, universities, as well as equipment manufacturers and solution providers.
